Lab Leaders for the 2024-2025 Academic Year

We are excited to introduce the dynamic duo leading our lab's groundbreaking projects.

Bryan Gonzalez is our Lab Lead pursuing an MS in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics), building upon his BS in the same field. Bryan plays a pivotal role in several projects, including SUAVE, AMIGO, OpenMutt, and LECTER. He provides invaluable support to all lab members, manages grant requests, and oversees proposal writing. Outside the lab, Bryan enjoys vintage motorcycles, biking, and hiking.

Jose Castelblanco, our Assistant Lab Lead, is also pursuing an MS in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics) and holds a BS in Engineering Physics (Instrumentation). Jose works on the AMIGO and AIRBUD projects, mentors less experienced team members, and handles onboarding of new personnel. Outside the lab, he's passionate about cinema, his plants, and is a proud cat dad to Mochi and Dobi.

Please join us in acknowledging their hard work and dedication!
